Salvete omnes,

For the practical part of our Roman History course, consul Mus and myself (both studying History at the University of Ghent) have to find a number of fine, academic-level websites about the following subjects :

1. The Greek polis
2. Roman cities and villages
3. Pompeii
4. Herculaneum
5. Ostia

If any of you happens to know good sites about the topics mentioned and wants to share them with us, we would be very grateful.

Valete,

AACK!! --I'm looking, I'm looking...!!!

(One must recall that most of Marius' best resources are still stuck on his previous computer, the 386 That Ruled The Earth; from whence they may no longer be retrieved except through means of an extended Tech Ritual, or by the expenditure of a Full Wish.)

Patientia tecum...it'll be worth it, I promise.
