I'm interested in reading this book. (and I have to anyway for Latin class)

I would like to know the opinions of those of you who have read it. And how it compares to the mini-series made by BBC...

Salve Tarquini!

I once read the book, a long time ago. But I remember that it was very nice to read, fluently written and rather historically correct. Of course, the mini series are easier - you don't have to use your imagination.

Just start reading, I'd say! I am sure you'll like the book.
