The after-life in the Religio Romana

Postby Anonymous on Tue Sep 09, 2003 8:06 pm

Salvete!

I have a question that has puzzled me for a while. I would like to know what was the Roman conception of the after-life, how where souls selected after death and what are the places these souls go to after death. And I have a more specific question, is there a sort of counterpart in the Religio Romana of the Germanic Valhalla for warriors, I consider the concept of Valhalla very worthwile for a warrior people and for the military. I hope you can answer my questions.

Valete!
Lucius Aurelius Flavus.
