Salvete, qui legunt -

A new English translation of what is recorded of the Stoic teaching of Musonius Rufus, the teacher of Epictetus, has been released. It is by Ms. Cynthia King, and bears a preface by William B. Irvine, author of 'A Guide to the Good Life: the Ancient Art of Stoic Joy'. These are important Stoic documents that have not been easily available in English before.

Lego.

Salve Iohanes,

Have you read it? I'm planning to buy it but will hold off until I read any review that you might have.

No, I haven't read but a couple of cites from what survives from Rufus.

But now that that has been collected and translated, I'll certainly get it. It's required reading for the Stoic's Library!

Vale!
