I just finished the test and here are my results:
1) Aleksander Megas (Alexander the Great)
2) Aristoteles
3) Plato
4) Pythagoras
5)Sokrates
I must say i was surprised with these results. Other memorable results: nr9) Leonidas
nr13) Croesus
I find it unteresting that Leonidas is nr 9 while he is one of few Greeks who i consider a hero.

If not mistaking, Kleisthenes and Solon as Drakon were all archonts who ruled Athens. I believe these names come up in my essay on Athens.
The people said that the laws of Drakon were written in blood because they were that cruel. Solon was a reformist i believe, one who changed leadership in Athens.

Is there actually a god to invoke for computer problems? I know that in christianity there is an internet patron, but could an ancient god be called upon in times of cybernetic need? Hermes/Mercurius spring to mind as gods of communication...

Actually there is already a deity for pc's and internet. She is called Kyberia or Cyberia. Its a name that pops up in the Hellenic pagan list once and a while. Hail Kyberia, Goddess of computers and internet.

Hmm, interesting... But I think "Cyberia" or "Kyberia" (mi Hellene, I think using the upsilon is still a better alternative than using the <u>
) is a nice fantasy. If I'm not mistaken it was one of the first sf-novellas which had this noun as a title. It's derived from Greek alright but I wouldn't know from what word.

Pardon me for asking what may be a somewhat dumb question, but when I did the selector, my #1 was Herodotos; who is that? I've heard of some of the others on the list, but not that one. I guess my knowledge of Greece is more limited to mythology rather than the actual history... Thanks!

Herodotus was a historian like Polybius and Tacitus. Well that is all what i know of him and that he had something to do with the march of the ten thousand, maybe he wrote about it, i forgot. Anyway what is your top 5 of personalities.

Thanks for the info! My top five were Herodotos, Plato, Sokrates, Kleisthenes, and Solon. Not really sure what much of that means, except that I'm probably a bit of an intellectual, but....
