Salve, Dionysii Draco -

Where do you suppose those finds will end up? Belgian museum?

I hope to get to Europe in the next few years, want to go to Belgium, so I'm wondering if they will wind up in a museum there. Of course, I suppose they may be studying them for a few years before putting them on display.

Quid censes?

Vale bene.

Salve Valeri Claudi,

Well, the major Roman hotspots in Belgium are Tongeren (Atuatuca Tungrorum) and Velzeke, both of which claim to be the oldest permanently inhabited human settlements in Belgium. Tongeren has a bigger museum, but neither place is as fancy is the great European museums with Roman collections. Additionally, there's also Wervik (Viaviracum) that hosts a bi-annual Roman Weekend.

I think it is most likely the statue will wind up in a museum in Brussels or another major city, or even Leiden in the Netherlands, which always had an impressive Greco-Roman collection. If I get any more info on this, I'll post it here.

Vale bene!
