Thanks for the site. I still can't get over the fact that I have a book that predates the revolution! It's quite a feeling.

I found a Latin-Greek Lexicon at a bookstore here in Memphis from the 1767. Anyone have any ideas on the best ways to preserve such a book?

Yes! I vote for yes. I would even sacrifice my current job and lifestyle to travel to Europe to teach it at the schools.

As z is a voiced s, zh is a voiced sh. I believe the IPA has it here as the 's' in vision.
