Re: New Byzantine Roman Micronation

As of today we have 37 members (including Flavius Vedius Germanicus, the other co-founder of NR) and 4 Senators. Until we have the Magistrates Offices figured out we plan to appoint a "Steward" (or as I'm trying to get a single Curator instead) to be the temporary head of the organization....

New Byzantine Roman Micronation

... Cassius of NR fame has set-up a (what he calls an experiment) new micronation (he has learned his lesson about mistakes made with NR he says). It is based on the Eastern Roman Empire (i.e. Byzantine Empire). It's called Byzantium Novum. I have decided to get in on the ground floor of his "e...

Re: Spartacus TV Series - Quick Review

It reminded me of "300". At least special effects wise. The first episode to me was just so-so. I hope as the series progresses it will get better. I still liked HBO's "Rome" better.

A Review of the Feriae Latinae/Tornado Alley Roman Rally

Priscus Omnibus sal. The event was a GREAT success!! Even though the Feriae Latinae ceremony was not held due to Nova Roman Consul Horatianus not attending due to a urgent family matter I feel that it was very successful. Salve, As Curator, I ask that you do not involve the SVR in any way with the host's of/or the program "Tomorrow's World". You can as a private citizen do so but, as Aldus Marius stated leave the SVR out of any discussion you have with anybody associated with the Host's or the Show. I d...

Salve, Welcome to the SVR! I hope you received my Welcome e-mail? I think you find we are more laid back here and not as intense as NR. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. If I can't answer it someone will gladly jump in to help. I've just set-up a RomanSpace page the other day also....

I like it. It would be better than the military ranking rating we have now. Also, after someone leaves office
he/she would have a status symbol to keep on the forum.

What is going on in NR at this time is why for the first time in over six years I did not run for a Office. I've been a Scriba, a Provincial Governor, Diribitor, and Tribunus Plebis. Now I am taking a break from NR(at least as an Office holder) for a while. This way I can concentrate on the SVR. ...
